Lackeby Roto-Sieve performs sludge screening at Swedish municipal biogas plant
Lackeby Roto-Sieve Drum screen RS 48 with Screw press SP 400For the effective separation of plastics from the household waste prior to sludge digestion and biogas production, a Roto-Sieve Drum screen, an RS 48 has been installed in cooperation with Purac AB. After separation, the screenings are then compacted by a Lackeby SP 400 screw press, which has resulted in fulfilling the demands of visible contaminants according to SPCR 120.
