Lackeby Roto-Sieve Drum screens RS 412´s at Little River WRF, USA
Lackeby Roto-Sieve RS 412 The Little River Water Reclamation Facility serves Mountain Park and nearby communities in Cherokee County, Georgia. The weekly average flow into the plant is 3,3 MGD with a peek flow of 4 MGD. In 2017, three units Lackeby Roto-Sieve Drum screens RS 412, modified and adapted to fit specific demands from the client, were chosen for the project. A perforation of Ø 1,0 mm perforation was selected for the fine mechanical screening after coarse bar screens and Vortex grit trap. The drum screens each holds a capacity equivalent to the peek flow and it´s a duty/ standby configuration. The project was commissioned in 2019.
